ALL CLASSES ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A TRANSPONDER FOR SCORING PURPOSES. TRANSPONDERS WILL COST $100.

Race Buggy Class Descriptions

SUPER BUGGY

*4 cyl. ONLY

*Can use a turbo on a stock engine up to 2000cc

*Race fuel allowed

          OR

*Up to a  2.4

*Must be stock

*Any fuel system, BUT must run pump fuel

           OR

*2 valve per cyl. can be modified if under 2.0 liter

*More than 2 valve per cyl. can be modified up to 2000cc, but if over 1650cc you

       must run 28mm venturies in the carburetor.

          OR 

*No restrictions on air cooled motors

*Any transmission

*Any suspension

*Vehicle must be minimum of 95”

*Two wheel drive ONLY

*Engine and transmission MUST be located behind driver

*Diameter of tubing must be at least 1 ½ “ for main roll cage

*Tubing must be .095” thick

LIMITED SUPER BUGGY

*Vehicle must be minimum of 95”

*Engine and transmission MUST be located behind driver

*Must have torsion bar suspension (stock style)

*No A arms in front or rear

*No coils or air shocks

*Sway bars allowed

Air cooled motor

*Limited to 2180cc

*No fuel injection

Stock water cooled motor

*Maximum compression must not exceed stock specs from manufacture  (may be                        asked to be tested)                    

*Can be rebuilt next size up piston if stock compression ratio available

*Displacement 2.2 liter maximum up to 125 factory rated horsepower

*Carbureted or fuel injection

*Rev limiter can be eliminated   

*Long block MUST remain stock (everything between the valve cover and oil pan)                                                                     

*No eco-tech engines

*No variable timing

*Pump gas only –NO race fuel

*No coil spring suspension or air shocks/suspension

1600 BUGGY

*Vehicle must be minimum of 95”

SUPERWOODS BUGGY

*Vehicle must be minimum of 95”

*Must have working break system

*Chassis must be designed to adequately protect drive and/or passenger

*No rebuildable shocks

*Any engine

*Any transmission

*Any modifications to suspension (front or rear)

WOODS BUGGY

*Engine and transmission MUST be located behind driver

*Must be a buggy intended for recreational use

*Fuel cell recommended

*No case boring to increase bore size

STOCK BUGGY

UTV Class Descriptions

* Long pants and long sleeved shirt required

*Window net must adequately contain driver’s arm in vehicle (NOT a triangle)

*Must have originated as a production UTV frame

MODIFIED

*May modify suspension and drive train

*NO turbo allowed

TURBO

*May modify suspension and drive train

                                                                       

STOCK

*Wheels and tires can be changed

*NO exhaust modifications intended for performance gains

*Safety harnesses and upper half of cage can be changed for safety purposes

*All other components must be stock

*Must maintain stock/factory ECM tuning

Truck Class Descriptions

UNLIMITED 4 x 4 and 2 x 4 TRUCK

*Must have full body

*Engine cannot be located behind the driver

*No other restrictions

*Must have working 4 wheel brake system

*Fuel tanks must be safe in design and mounting, safety committee has final ruling

*Must have a minimum of 6 point roll cage with 2  door bars on side attached to frame

*No sharp or jagged edges on outside of truck

*No body lifts

8,6, & 4 Cyl. Limited 4 x 4 and 2 x 4 Truck

*Must have working 4 wheel brake system

*Fuel tanks must be safe in design and mounting, safety committee has final ruling

*Must have a minimum of 6 point roll cage with 2  door bars on side attached to frame

*No loose objects in vehicle

*Suggested a tow hook

*No sharp or jagged edges on outside of truck

*No body lifts

*Front wheel maximum travel limits (13”) and rear wheel maximum wheel travel limits (16”)

*Minimum wheel base 80”

*Must retain stock side rails-NO reworking to lower center of gravity

*Must use stock truck or SUV frame and body (all body parts must be present

           Example:  front clip, rear fenders, etc.)

*No tube chassis, but can remove or add crossmembers                     

*Can use alcohol fuel, but must be marked clearly with an orange sticker with a black “A” mounted on both sides of vehicle & at the kill switch

6 Cyl.Limited 4 x 4 and 2 x 4 Truck Class     

*6 point roll cage required

*Must retain stock frame side rails

*Maximum 10” wheel travel front and rear

*Engine and induction system must be of original type with the exception of the air cleaner

*Maximum 6 cylinders

Rally Class Descriptions

Rally 2 x 4 – 8 Cyl., 4 Cyl. Stock Cars and Trucks and

4 x 4-4 Cyl. Cars

*Doors must be fastened shut (Regular locks NOT OK)

*Driver’s compartment interior panels must be intact

*Stock seatbelts must work

*All factory lights must be removed

*If factory glass has been removed, window nets must be sufficient to keep all

        body parts inside of vehicle during a roll over

*Roll cage and 5 point harness recommended

*All vehicles with structural damage to the roof must have adequate reinforcement

          to protect the passengers

*Single non-adjustable front and rear strut bars allowed

*Fire suit recommended

*Helmet required                                                         

*Stock engine & wheels                                                                           

*DOT approved tires required, maximum of 30″ tall                                               

*Suspension may be raised up to 2″ using OEM type parts or spacers

*Stock air intake box required, but can change air cleaner  

*Attachment point in front and rear for easy ability for pulling off track   

                     

Rally 2 x 4-8 Cyl Cars and Trucks

*Doors must be fastened shut
